lyrics

Is there even objectivity or just a billion realities? With that many questions, how can we ever be sure of anything? I’m not asking anyone to see things as I do. Would be nice if you’d accept that I don’t share your point of view. What’s wrong tomorrow is right just for now. That’s the reason why I can’t see how anyone can think they’ve got it all figured out. It’s kind of presumptious. We’ve seen it in history. Why would you think it won’t repeat? What used to be common tomorrow is obsolete. So is there even anything, anything like certainty? Believing so, I must admit, really suits you perfectly. What’s wrong tomorrow is right just for now. That’s the reason why I can’t see how anyone can think they’ve got it all figured out. It’s kind of presumptious. Changing your mind, it’s always been ok. We need less black and white. We need more grey. I gave it all to stay away from this. It’s kind of helpless. It’s kind of hopeless.

about

Bellyacher NRW, Germany

BA initially formed in Jan 2020, right before a pandemic hit and slowed their progress.

Meeting rarely over the first few months, they managed to write some carefully-crafted anthems. Original expectations took an unintentional turn towards melodic indiepunk, 90s emo/post-hc and college alt rock, especially after adding Claudia on vocals.

Always happy to hear from you. Get in touch any time xo
